Three Impressive New Features in the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe

New diesel power and driving dynamics in the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe

For maximum towing capacity and ultimate efficiency, the new Tahoe gets the durable 3.0 L Duramax turbo-diesel engine. This powerplant outputs 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.

The 2021 Tahoe gets updated V8 engines with added Dynamic Fuel Management. The 5.3 L V8 is rated at 355 horsepower and is standard on LS, LT, Z71, RST and Premier models. The High Country variant gets a standard 420 hp 6.2L V8.

All Tahoe powerplants are mated to a standard 10-speed automatic transmission with push-button electronic shift.

Driving dynamics are also greatly updated, with a fully independent suspension in the rear paired with available Magnetic Ride Control and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension. This new feature can level itself at all four corners, and offer up to four inches of ride-height adjustment.

Because the need for passenger space and cargo is always growing, the 2021 Tahoe delivers with 66% more cargo room behind the third row so you can haul everything your family needs on any kind of trip.

Chevrolet also cleared and additional 254 mm (10 inches) more room for those third-row passengers.

More technology, inside and out       

The all-new Tahoe interior comes with a standard 10-inch diagonal central colour touchscreen, the largest in its segment, but is also available with an 8-inch digital cluster and 15-inch head up display.

Finally, two 12.6-inch diagonal rear-seat LCD displays are available to entertain your passengers.

Other technologies include standard Automatic Emergency Braking, HD Surround Vision and Rear Pedestrian Alert, available nine camera views and new trailering system, with trailer profiles, trailer tire pressure/temperature monitoring and Side Blind Zone Alert.
