Hummer returns with a 1000-horsepower electric truck

General Motors will revive the Hummer brand with a brand new electric pickup delivering more than 1000 horsepower which will be presented next May.

In the meantime, General Motors will be promoting Hummer's return in a number of different ways including an advertisement in the upcoming Super Bowl.

Hummer's return marks the start of the “quiet revolution” era at GM. The new Hummer will be the flagship vehicle of this new philosophy at General Motors. The initial specs are impressive, no doubt about it.

The new Hummer will be fully electric and will deliver 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of torque, placing the electrified truck directly in the crosshairs of the Tesla Cybertruck. GM says it will only take 3.0 seconds to reach 100 km/h.

To say we can't wait to see the new Hummer truck would be an understatement!
