2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV: a great opportunity to go electric

The Chevrolet Bolt EV will be redesigned in the coming months and the 2021 model will be a next-generation model. We don't know everything about it yet, but what is certain is that it will be as interesting as the version currently on offer.

In fact, even though the current version has been retired, it is still as interesting as ever, and considering the arrival of a new generation, it represents a golden opportunity to go electric.

Let's see how

First, as is often the case with the arrival of a new model, additional discounts are offered on the outgoing product. In the case of the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV, when you add to that the government rebates of $5,000 at the federal level and $8,000 at the provincial level, it becomes interesting.

In fact, at this time, a $15,900 rebate is offered on the model, which means that an additional $2,900 in credit is applicable. This brings the price of the basic LT version down to only $32,750.

To enjoy a car that's comfortable, fun to drive and offers 417 kilometres of electric range, it's really starting to look good. And that's without counting on the attractive interest rates that are reserved for the model. When the 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV arrives, the 2020 editions must be sold.

And if your finances allow you to pay cash, you can even take advantage of an additional $2,000 rebate offered by GM. And why not take advantage of a demonstrator vehicle with other discounts, if that's possible?

In short, the opportunities are there, and they must be seized.

The 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV is available in two configurations: LT and Premier.

The base version offers a complete package that includes 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, door handles matching the body colour, keyless entry and push-button start, heated front seats and steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, a multimedia system with a 10.2-inch screen, as well as satellite radio.

Upgrading to the Premium variant adds mirrors with integrated turn signals, blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alerts, interior ambient lighting, perforated leather seats, rearview mirror with rear camera image, wireless cell phone charging, and heated rear seats.

In short, at its regular price, the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV is already a bargain. With the many discounts offered, it becomes a great deal, the kind that is worth grabbing.
