GM Mobility Program

The people at General Motors of Canada Limited, and GM dealers nationwide, know just how important mobility is if you have a disability. We also know that finding appropriate sources of mobility-related information and financing can be frustrating.

That's why, with the assistance of Saint Elizabeth Health Care and the Bridgepoint Community Rehab Drive Assessment and Training Centre, we've put together an extensive collection of information, resources and a reimbursement of up to $1,000 towards the cost of adapting your new GM vehicle.

Canadian Forces Personnel Bonus

GM Canada Salutes Canadian Forces Personnel. $500 bonus discount provided on all new passenger cars and trucks.

General Motors of Canada today announced that effective immediately, it will continue its Canadian Forces Personnel Appreciation Program throughout 2007. The program offers active, reserve, and past members of the Canadian Forces, and their spouses, a $500 (tax inclusive) bonus towards the purchase or lease of any new General Motors passenger vehicle.

"Every day, the men and women of the Canadian Forces distinguish themselves and serve our country, both at home and abroad, and we extend this program as a token of GM Canada's appreciation for their selfless commitment," said Marc Comeau, Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing, GM Canada.

The program applies to all new Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac, Hummer, GMC, Saturn and Saab vehicles and can be used by the following groups:

• All Active Service Personnel (past or present) of the Canadian Forces,
• All Current Reservists of the Canadian Forces,
• All Veterans of the Canadian Forces,
• The spouses of above (must show documentation)

Eligible individuals need only provide proof of current or former membership in the Canadian Forces (or proof of relationship to Canadian Forces Personnel for transferability to spouse) at their local GM Canada dealer or retailer to be eligible. There is no restriction on the number of vehicles an eligible individual can purchase/lease during the allowed delivery period. The bonus can be added to other regional or national sales incentive programs currently being offered (e.g. Canada Wide Clearance).

Roadside Assistance

Whether you've locked your keys in your car, had a flat tire, or simply run out of gas, it's good to know that help is only a phone call away. All Optimum Vehicles feature 3 months or 5,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) of 24-hour roadside assistance. That includes trip interruption coverage and a convenient trip routing service to help you quickly find your way. And that means peace-of-mind motoring wherever the road might lead.

Your Optimum Used Vehicle Limited Warranty includes Roadside Assistance with coverage equal to the warranty period of time or warranty distance (whichever comes first).

If a vehicle is still within the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty period, it's covered by GM Roadside Assistance. By calling 1 800 268-6800 a service operator is dispatched to the scene. Should this service not remedy the problem, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest GM Dealership or GM authorized repair facility. In addition, a winching service is provided to pull your vehicle out of mud and snow, up to a maximum benefit of $100 per occurrence.

If an Optimum Vehicle is a non-General Motors vehicle and is still within the manufacturer's warranty period, you are covered by that manufacturer's Roadside Assistance Program, if any.

Optimum Certified Used Vehicles

Manufacturer Warranty

Warranty is an important consideration when you shop for a used vehicle. All Optimum vehicles come with warranty coverage backed by the manufacturer, ensuring that your vehicle will be serviced by qualified technicians who use factory-approved parts.

All Optimum Used Vehicles feature a minimum of 3 months or 5,000 kilometres (whichever comes first) standard Used Vehicle Limited Warranty. You can extend or upgrade to an even more comprehensive Optimum Used Vehicle Protection Plan. Should you ever decide to sell your Optimum vehicle, you'll be able to transfer any existing warranties to a new owner.

150-Point Inspection

From the proper operation of the engine and brakes to the condition of the sun shade and map lights, you can be sure that each Optimum Vehicle has been meticulously inspected by licensed mechanics before it's offered for sale. During the inspection process, each vehicle must pass a check of a minimum of 150 different points. This ensures the vehicle is in excellent condition - inside and out. On some vehicles, up to 180 different points are inspected. Plus, regular maintenance is performed and faulty components are repaired or replaced.

A GM-trained technician performs the following 150-plus point inspection on every Optimum Used Vehicle:

• Preliminary
• Interior Trim
• Pre-Test Drive
• Test Drive
• Service Bay
• Appearance
• Final

Exchange Privilege

If, for any reason, you're not completely satisfied with your Optimum Used Vehicle you may exchange it within the first 30 days or 2,500 kilometres, whichever comes first, of the date of purchase for any other eligible Optimum Vehicle.

If the purchase price of the replacement vehicle is less than the purchase price of the vehicle being returned, you'll receive credit for the difference. If the purchase price of the replacement vehicle is more, you simply pay the difference.

All Optimum Vehicles, unless indicated by your Optimum Dealer, are eligible for the Exchange Privilege if exchanged with the selling dealer within the first 30 calendar days or 2,500 kilometres, whichever occurs first, of the date of purchase.

• The vehicle must currently be owned or leased by the retail purchaser/lessee of the Optimum Used Vehicle.
• The vehicle must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered to the customer, without damage or excessive wear and tear.
